Can I run video calls from the garden office?

Absolutely. The double glazing and insulation keep outside noise out, so your calls are properly clear. Most of our customers run their Wi-Fi via a mesh system or a direct ethernet cable from the house.

How do I get internet to the office?

We include Cat 6 ethernet ducting so you can run a wired connection from the house. A lot of people also use a Wi-Fi mesh system, which works well for most setups. Either way, you're sorted.

Do I need to tell my mortgage lender?

A garden office that falls under permitted development doesn't usually affect your mortgage, but it's always worth a quick call to your lender. It's not the same as an extension.

Is the electrical package enough for a full office setup?

Yes. You get a consumer unit, multiple double sockets at desk height, LED lighting, and an external connection point. If you need extra sockets, we can add those too at a fair price.

Will it be warm enough in winter?

Properly warm. We use 50mm Kingspan insulation in the floor, walls, and roof. Add underfloor heating if you want, but most people find a small electric heater is all they need. It heats up fast because it's well insulated.
